The Competition

The Tasmania Together Youth Challenge asks you to think about Tasmania’s future and use your creative abilities to share your vision for the future.

You can choose from a range of creative and artistic styles to enter the competition, click Entry requirements for more information.

The Theme: Take control! Alter the future!

This year’s TT Youth Challenge provides exciting ways to explore the vision of Tasmania Together:

“Tasmania is an island community, unique for its natural and cultural environment, where people enjoy a prosperous lifestyle based on quality, creativity, and opportunity.”

Using the Tasmania Together vision as a basis, we encourage you to think about how you can make a difference. Share your vision for the future of Tasmania!

You may like to review the Tasmania Together 51 Ways you can make a difference brochure – see www.tasmaniatogether.tas.gov.au/how_to_get_involved and then develop your own creative ideas that contribute to one or more of the Tasmania Together goals or benchmarks.

For example, after reviewing the goals and benchmarks you may like to share with us your vision for the goal ‘Confident, friendly and safe communities’ or the benchmark ‘Percentage of the population who do not do enough exercise to avoid chronic disease’.

Entries will be judged on quality and creativity – as well as by how well the ideas are linked to Tasmania Together’s vision and goals.
