In the high school and college competition, a winner and two commended prizes will be awarded in the following class sections:

Grades 7 / 8
Grades 9 / 10
Grades 11 / 12

FIRST PRIZE

The first placed entrant in each class section will receive $700 by way of a cheque made payable to the winner.

Should a school class entry (eg Year 8, North South District High School) be adjudged the first place winner, the following prizes will be awarded to the school, individual class members and coordinating teacher:

• The school will receive sport and/or art equipment up to the value of $700.
  Each class member (allowance of up to 30 students) will receive a prize of an MP3 player.
  The registered teacher of the winning class will receive a $100 voucher for redemption.

HIGHLY COMMENDED

The highly commended entrant in each class section will receive an iPod 80GB Classic.

Should a school class entry (eg Year 10 North West District High School) be adjudged highly commended, the following prizes will be awarded to the school, individual class members and coordinating teacher:

• The school will receive sport and/or art equipment up to the value of $350.
  Each class member (allowance of up to 30 students) will receive a prize of an MP3 player.
  The registered teacher of the winning class will receive a $75 voucher for redemption.
  

COMMENDED

The commended entrant in each class section will receive an iPod 4GB Nano.

Should a school class entry (eg Year 10 South District High School) be adjudged commended, the following prizes will be awarded to the school, individual class members and coordinating teacher:

• The school will receive sport and/or art equipment up to the value of $200.
  Each class member (allowance of up to 30 students) will receive a prize of a $15 book voucher.
  The registered teacher of the winning class will receive a $50 voucher for redemption.

Primary School Competition:

In the primary school, section a winner and two commended prizes will be awarded in the following class sections:

• Kindergarten to Grade 2
  Grades 3 / 4
  Grades 5 / 6

The group entrant judged in first place will receive the following prizes, awarded to the school, individual class members and coordinating teacher:

• The school will receive sport and/or art equipment up to the value of $700.

  The registered teacher of the winning class will receive a $100 voucher for redemption.

Should an individual entry be adjudged first place, the following prizes will be awarded to the individual entrant and school:

Should an individual entry be adjudged highly commended, the following prizes will be awarded to the individual entrant and school:

• The individual entrant will receive $175 by way of a cheque made payable to the winner.
  The school will receive sport and/or art equipment up to the value of $175.

COMMENDED

The group entrants adjudged commended will receive the following prizes, awarded to the school, individual class members and coordinating teacher:

• The school will receive sport and/or art equipment up to the value of $200.
  Each class member (allowance of up to 30 students) will receive a prize of a $15 book voucher for redemption.
  The registered teacher of the winning class will receive a $50 voucher for redemption.

Should an individual entry be adjudged commended, the following prizes will be awarded to the individual entrant and school:

• The individual entrant will receive $100 by way of a cheque made payable to the winner.
  The school will receive sport and/or art equipment up to the value of $100.

Prizes are not transferable and/or redeemable for cash.

Prize distribution

Individual prize winners

All individual prize winners, i.e. winners of the cash prizes and iPods will receive their prize by registered mail.

Class section prize winners

Individual class member prizes (i.e. book vouchers or mp3 players) will be sent via registered mail to the registered teacher of each winning class for distribution to class members.

The registered teacher of each winning class will be sent their choice of a book or massage voucher to the value of their prize by registered mail.
