Tasmania Together (TT) is a 20 year plan for Tasmania’s future. It is a community based vision of where the people want Tasmania to be in the year 2020. It came about through a period of extensive community consultation during 1999, and was extensively reviewed after its first five years, in 2005. Tasmania Together sets targets for us to achieve which are expressed as 12 broad goals and more than 140 measurable benchmarks. In essence, Tasmania Together sets the future we are working towards – and gives us a way of measuring progress.
Tasmania is an island community, unique for its natural and cultural environment, where people enjoy a prosperous lifestyle, based on quality, creativity and opportunity.
The TT Youth Challenge aims to encourage an exploration of the Tasmania Together vision in a variety of creative and artistic ways.
